Older adults are at risk for poisoning primarily due to polypharmacy (the use of multiple drugs or more drugs than are medically necessary) and adverse drug events.

Hosted by Stephanie Cowle from Parachute, this webinar will feature a presentation by Dr. Joanne Ho, the founder and Co-Executive Director of GeriMedRisk. During this webinar, Dr. Ho will provide an overview of trends in drug-related harm among older adults in Canada, pharmacologic changes to older adults that put them at risk and how these injuries can be prevented.
